Comfortable Medical Room

Medical building, doctor room, dentist room also needs interior design to deliver comfortable environment for both doctor and patient. The old medical building and room have special characteristic that make people easily recognize it as hospital room. But everybody knows that hospital room is a big nightmare for lots of people, because they will feel sick and not comfortable inside it. Although the patient is really sick people but it will be better if you can give homey and comfortable situation to reduce stress and support healing process.
Interior design for doctor or dentist office is a little tricky because there must be medical equipments on the room that make people remember the hospital room. If it is pediatric office or dentist office for children patient, it will be trickier because children can really freak out when they see medical equipments. The most important is how to choose and put medical equipment is the right order to make people see it differently.
Injections and needles is the most frightening device both children and adult. One thing for sure is that you must keep out injections and needles from patient visibility when they enter the room. Using cabinet or drawer to put it is the best.
Poster is good to give medical information for patient and guide them for healthier life. But it is better to not put poster on the room with frightening content. Big poster will make people scare, so instead of using big poster with frightening content you better use brochure so your patient will not instantly shock and can read it carefully at home.
Color is another important part. Forget the whole white theme as the old hospital use. Colorful and bright color will attract people, give comfort and cheerful. Especially for children, colorful is fun. And color choice also good to apply on your choice of medical equipment. Today, some medical equipment is offer stylish design with color choice. For example is dental chair. Today’s dental chair is not only grey or dark blue, but you can find various color like green, pink, purple, turquoise, orange, etc. Colorful medical equipment will make it less scary.
As long as it is not disturbing, you can put decorative items such as vase of flower of statue on medical room. With decorative item, the room will look so beautiful and comfortable.
